What this site is for

This is a patient decision guide to the injectable route for the nose, published by Chongqing West District Hospital, a tertiary general hospital in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing. It exists for the person deciding rather than the person studying: whether their concern is the kind a needle reaches at all, what the nose is exposed to when it is injected, what the treatment becomes over years, and when the honest answer is no.

What it deliberately does not do

It does not name products or brands, quote prices or dosages, or promise a result. It does not present the injectable route as a way to slim or straighten a nose, and it does not repeat the surgical explanation that the rhinoplasty site and the facial aesthetic surgery hub already carry.

The two facts behind every page

An injection adds material and can never remove it, so the plan can only move a nose in one direction. And the change is decided as though it cannot be undone, even though some substance classes can be reversed, because dissolving in the nose is uncommon, uncomfortable and not a return to the starting shape. Both are stated wherever treatment is described.

How the content is reviewed and corrected

Ke He, MD, Deputy Director and Head of Skin & Laser Aesthetics, is the responsible physician. Every guide is reviewed against her clinical judgement before publication and reviewed again on a twelve-month cycle. If you find something unclear, out of date or wrong, the contact page explains how to tell us, and corrections are made to the page itself.
