Meet the Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Team

This site is led by Ke He, MD, who assesses every plan and is responsible for its medical content. The other three physicians contribute the surgical, refinement and dermatologic perspectives that a nasal injectable assessment draws on.

Ke He (何锞)

Deputy Director & Head of Skin & Laser Aesthetics · Attending Physician, Licensed Aesthetic Attending · Lead Physician of This Site

Nasal injectable assessment · vascular risk · conservative staged planning

Dr. Ke He is Deputy Director of the Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Medical Center at Chongqing West District Hospital and head of its skin and laser aesthetic service — and she is the lead physician of this site. A core specialist formerly at the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Department of Xinqiao Hospital, affiliated with Army Medical University, she has worked on the clinical front line in skin laser and injectable aesthetics for more than 20 years, serving over ten thousand patients.

In this clinic a nasal injection is planned as a question rather than a correction. Dr. He maps the dorsum and the tip, decides first whether the concern is an absence at all, and treats the opening session as the smallest volume that answers it. The front view decides whether the plan continues, not the profile alone, and she would rather stop a plan than raise a baseline that cannot be lowered. She records the substance class, the site and the amount used at every visit, because a surgeon operating later needs to know what is in the tissue and when it was placed, and she says plainly when the honest answer is an operation instead of a needle.

Clinical focus

  • Assessment of whether a nasal concern is an absence or an excess before any injection
  • Conservative staged nasal injection with the smallest volume that answers the question
  • Recognition and management of vascular events in the nose, and what must be ready on site
  • Documenting every substance class, site and amount for a surgeon who may operate later
  • Honest referral to rhinoplasty when the problem is subtraction, structure or the airway

Academic roles & achievements

  • Member, Laser Medicine Group, Chinese Medical Association Plastic Surgery Branch
  • Member, Facial Rejuvenation Group, Chinese Medical Association Plastic Surgery Branch

The needle adds, and only adds

Every session raises the baseline under the skin of the nose. Nothing placed there can be taken out cleanly, so the size you accept now is the size you and any future surgeon work from.

Start with an assessment, not an injection

Arrange a consultation. We will say whether your concern is one a needle can reach at all, what a first session would commit you to, and when an operation or nothing is the better answer.
